Shaking Hands with the General – A fictional tale of an Army private’s experience during training.

The Marryin’ – Although unspecified, this is set in the piney woods of Mississippi around the turn of the 20th century.

The Barkeep – A whimsical tale that takes place in a Tucson tavern around 1930.
